Celebrating

It is a tradition for many medical and dental programs to induct the students into the school by presenting them with a white coat to wear during their clinical practice. The head honchos of the school shared some inspiring words with the students. Mostly they told them to be responsible and professional. All the time. Everywhere they go. Including the bars. We'll have a hard time with that.

They also said that these 57 students were chosen out of 1,500 applicants. Pretty impressive.

The students then march on stage and put on their coat. This proved to be quite entertaining. It became apparent that many students don't wear suit coats. They struggled putting them on.

Josie loved the event. She spotted Grant as he walked across the stage. Her sweet voice pierced the silent hall with the most endearing "Dad! Dad! Dad!" you've ever heard. This had the whole place giggling.

I struggled taking pictures. Sorry. I'm working on the photography. Apparently it is going slowly.

Proud wife and baby.

The future dentists.Way to go boys. You are making me so proud. Really.
