Climbing

There is world class rock climbing 90 minutes from Lexington. Apparently it is the getaway location for dental students and the University of Kentucky. Grant and I started climbing after we learned this from Grant's buddy Nate. He is starting his fourth year and he's been great to keep us updated on what real dental students do.
So we set out to find a nice, shady place to climb.
The Red River Gorge is filled with hundreds of crags. We could have chosen any of them and had a good time. We decided on Bruise Brothers. And when we got there, we were greeted by none other than UK dental students! What?! Funny. And they happened to be from Utah. Double funny!

We enjoyed getting a little sweaty and scared. Shaun led his first route, a true accomplishment. And Josie ate a minimal amount of dirt. Success indeed!
This is one of the beautiful views from our drive home. One day soon I will learn how to use my real camera and I will take a better picture than this. And you will be jealous that I get to live here.

  1. This is what real dental students do? What do fake dental students do?
